Dr. Chunson Park
Piano
​Dr. Chunson Park, an acclaimed piano pedagogue with over four decades of experience, is recognized as one of Ottawa’s most distinguished educators. Trained at the University of British Colombia (UBC), Juilliard, and Boston University under masters such as Robert and Ellen Silverman and Hung-Kuan Chen, she is a prize-winning performer since age 12, appearing internationally at venues like Lincoln Center and with orchestras including the UBC and Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestras. Celebrated for her exceptional mentorship, Dr. Park’s students have won top national awards and performed at Carnegie Hall, earning her honors such as the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Teacher of Distinction and multiple Steinway Top Music Teacher Awards.

​Dr. Daniel Furtado
Piano
Dr. Daniel Furtado is an award-winning pianist and pedagogue with a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of British Columbia and advanced performance degrees from top North and South American universities. A Royal Conservatory of Music Advanced Specialist and 2024 Steinway Top Teacher, he was inducted into the prestigious Steinway & Sons Teachers Hall of Fame in New York City. Renowned for his artistry and mentorship, Dr. Furtado now teaches in Ottawa, where he prepares elite students for international examinations, competitions, and concert careers.

Marc Djokic
Violin
Marc Djokic, the award-winning concertmaster of the Orchestre classique de Montréal and Music Director of ART CRUSH, stands among Canada’s most distinguished violinists. He is a Mécénat Musica Prix Goyer recipient, a Prix Opus recipient, as well as the winner of the 2020 ECMA Classical Recording of the Year for his debut album Solo Seven. A 2024 Juno Award winner and acclaimed soloist, he has performed with leading ensembles, including the Toronto Symphony and National Arts Centre Orchestra, and his upcoming album Solo Eight is set for release in 2025. Renowned for his artistry and innovation, Djokic also champions mentorship and community engagement through Mini-Concerts and masterclasses across North America.

Dr. Ruby Jin
Piano
Dr. Ruby Jin is an acclaimed pianist celebrated for her emotional sensitivity and dramatic flair, performing across Canada and internationally in venues such as Ottawa Chamberfest, Müzewest Festival, and L’Oasis Musicale. Dr. Jin holds a Ph.D in Music from McGill University and has received multiple awards, such as the J.W. McConnell Memorial Fellowship. She has released two albums—Schubert: Works for Violin and Piano and Echoes from the Nursery—and premiered numerous contemporary works. Based in Ottawa, Dr. Jin is a dedicated educator whose students have won top national awards, while she continues to enrich the community through outreach, adjudication, and artistic leadership.

Tianping Chen
Violin
Chinese-Canadian violinist Tianping Chen began her violin studies at the age of three in Shanghai and continued her musical education at Queen’s University School of Music after immigrating to Canada. She maintains an active freelance career, performing with ensembles such as the Kingston Symphony Orchestra, Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, and various chamber groups across Canada.
A passionate and dedicated educator, Tianping is a certified Suzuki teacher (ECE through Book 10) and serves on the faculty of the National Suzuki School. She has adjudicated at music festivals, led workshops, and continues to pursue her lifelong commitment to professional development.
Tianping’s teaching philosophy emphasizes strong fundamentals, ease of playing, and expressive musicianship grounded by healthy technique. She inspires both young and adult learners through creative, engaging methods, and her students have earned top prizes at the Ottawa Kiwanis Music Festival, Ontario Music Festivals Association (OMFA), and the Canadian Music Festival.

Victor Avila
Piano
Victor Ávila is an accomplished pianist, teacher, and collaborator who has performed across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico, with a repertoire spanning from Baroque to contemporary works. He holds a Master of Music and has won numerous awards, including the Zoya Solod Piano Scholarship and Mitchell Sharp Commemorative Bursary. Mr. Ávila has also performed at major international festivals, such as the Orford Music Academy, as well as with ensembles like the Xalapa Philharmonic Orchestra. A dedicated educator and member of the Suzuki Association and ORMTA, he now teaches in Ottawa, where his students have earned top prizes in national and international competitions.
